Knowing You're Wanted is the Best Medicine: A Session with Murphy and The Emotion Code

Our animal family members are amazing.
They really do understand what we're saying.
We just have to know how to hear them.
And, they respond well to energy work just like people!
Our dog, Murphy (seen above) had FHO surgery (to remove the ball and neck of his hip joint) two weeks ago.
This was actually his second FHO surgery and, after two days, we could tell that he was not doing well compared to his first surgery.
He limped around and fell a lot.
He looked so helpless and we felt worried.
What would happen if he didn't get better?
While I felt concerned, I know better than to get wrapped up in feelings. It's an act of surrender to listen within rather than just focus on my feelings -- especially as an HSP/Empath.
I trained in something called, The Emotion Code, created by chiropractor, Dr. Bradley Nelson. It's a way to clear inherited, lived, or absorbed "emotions." These emotions are not always standard feelings. They can be anything from "love unreceived," to "peeved."
When I use The Emotion Code, I also receive intuitive guidance about situations and often communicate on a soul level with whomever is involved.
As I cleared Murphy's energy, I noticed that the main emotion coming up for him was "worthless." I received very clear guidance that he felt worthless when he was given up by his first caretaker and given away.
As a soul-to-soul communicator with people and animals, I heard Murphy tell me intuitively that he didn't feel wanted because of his hips.
Apparently, his first caregiver had been a runner and when he couldn't run with her, she gave him up and that's how we were able to adopt him.
He was worried that because he wasn't doing well, that we would give him up as well. He didn't want to be a burden.
This is common for rescue animals -- they can have old emotional wounds that get triggered when new issues come up, just like people, (which is why it's important not to retell their stories of sadness in front of them).
As I cleared the energy of worthlessness, I talked to him intuitively and let him know how grateful we are that we got to adopt him. He's our boy!
We are SO grateful to know him and love him!
And while we would never wish him pain, if he hadn't had hip issues, we wouldn't have been able to know and love him and that would be awful.
Thank goodness he's who he is!
He'd never thought of it like that and I could feel he was amazed!
After clearing worthlessness and replacing it with "loved and wanted," he and I cleared "helplessness" and replaced it with "strong!"
Literally minutes after the session, Murphy stood up, balanced fully on his legs, and began romping around!
It was amazing!
He was smiling his doggy grin and wanted to play.
We had to settle him down! 🤣
He told me he's "strong!"
And, he's shown it.
Side note: I had actually written to my friend and mentor for a session for Murphy and I thought she was the one who had helped him heal. I'm still learning to trust my own abilities even after certification, extra training, and 3 years of being an Emotion Code Practitioner.
I think that's because even though I'm the facilitator of healing, I know that healing happens from a larger field of healing and is often because of the person -- or animal I'm working with.
And, Murphy showed me what healing can do.
And it is such a great joy to see it! 💗
